Sportweight Yarn

Comprising Category 2 on the Craft Yarn Council chart, they knit at about 6 to 7 sts per inch on approximately US size 3 to 5 needles.

Sportweight yarns are just a touch heavier than fingering weight yarns; slightly quicker to knit than fingering weight yarns, they still are relatively fine-gauge. These versatile yarns will create thicker socks or delightfully snuggly baby items and accessories.

Wyndmoor
A terrific all-around yarn, Wyndmoor is an 8-ply superwash merino with bounce and a velvety hand. True sportweight, with approximately 300 yards per skein. Ideal for baby items, shawls, boot socks and more!
