Sock Yarns
Sock yarns are one of the staples in my dyepot. My regular offerings include 100% superwash merino; two wool/nylon blends, one with a tighted twist and firmer hand, the other with a more smooshy feel; a merino/silk blend, for luxury and shine; and blends of merino/bamboo and merino/tencel. Occasionally I am able to source limited amounts of additional blends, such as the Canadian sock yarn blends from Wild Geese Fibres.
All sock yarns are individually dyed in small batches (never more than two skeins at a time). They generally knit at fingering weight gauge, approximately 7 to 8 sts per inch on size (US) 0-3 needles.

A new base yarn of 40% bamboo, 40% wool and 20% nylon, superwash. Each skein is approx. 375 yds/100g. Fingering weight, a touch on the heavier side. Soft and sturdy - a great blend for socks!
