A break

Our first week at the shore has come and gone.

We had glorious weather–until the last 2 days. Then it poured. But that was okay. We still had plenty of time for playing on the beach,

and catching up on our reading.

We had some excellent parcheesi games, too.

Alliances were made, at least temporarily,

and Boy Twin took some photographs

while Little Miss had fun photoshopping her mom’s photos.

We did plenty of relaxing.

We’re back home now, rested up and ready to face the extraordinary heat that our part of the world is experiencing. And of course we are delighted to be reunited with Charcoal and Boris, who spent the week with Grandmom and Grandpop.

We’re all so happy to be home.
